SLIBStream is a wholly owned subsidiary of SL International Business, Second Life’s largest advertising, real estate and venture capital company.
SLIB's involvement in SL media distribution began with a total acquisition of WJUV shares. This acquisition began with the intention that SLIB would own and control WJUV's media distribution network and brand. While the initial ownership was thwarted by a dispute over ownership and control of WJUV, the current rebranding of WJUV into SLIBStream represents a bold initiative in which SLIB launches high quality streaming audio entertainment and advertising to members of Second Life.
